York release notes

Summary

In this release, we fixed a notable issue with loading schemas from OpenAPI documents. We also fixed an issue when installing the API Builder CLI which incorrectly relied on git. Additional performance improvements were made to model and custom APIs. We also started working to support OpenAPI 3.

Update

To update an existing API Builder application, execute the following command from within the application directory:

npm update

To update the API Builder CLI, execute the following command:

axway pm update

Features

• #7093: Added an interface for plugging different protocols into API Builder that will eventually be used to support OpenAPI 3 in the product.

Fixes

• #7100: Fixed an issue installing @axway/amplify-api-builder-cli version 1.20.0 that resulted in the error “error syscall spawn git” when installing git://github.com/wickedest/inquirer-checkbox-plus-prompt.git.
• #7059: Fixed an issue in @axway/api-builder-plugin-fn-swagger and @axway/api-builder-oas-flow-node loading OpenAPI documents with the error “Cannot convert undefined or null to object”. The issue was encountered on OpenAPI documents containing mixed references to component properties, e.g. #/components/schemas/Pet/properties/name and references to components, e.g. #/components/schemas/Pet.
• #7081: Fixed an issue where previously, model and custom APIs logged the response body at INFO level. Now, model and custom APIs do not log the response body at any level, improving request performance.
